Extension Springs

Extension springs are used for creating resistance against linear tensioning forces or pulling forces. These springs are designed and manufactured to suit various applications. These springs come with closed eyes, open hooks, closed eyes or various other forms of attachment on both the ends. Made by CNC spring forming machines, our tension springs are available in different sizes.

We consider many factors when designing an extension spring: spatial requirements, initial tension, type of ends, coil direction, and stress levels. We place material consideration as a top priority in extension spring design.

Extension Springs

Our ability to fabricate springs with unconventional materials allows us to design springs built for exact applications, satisfying your endurance and environment requirements.

Some of our build materials include stainless steel 302, 316, 17-7, as well as Inconel, music/piano wire, Monel, beryllium copper, and Tungsten.

All coils are active in an extension spring, and it is the initial tension that holds the coils together tightly. Designs are limitless and may be created to fit your particular application.
